Lena John
Lena John, 97, born Dec. 20, 1922, in Na-Ah-Tee Canyon, Ariz., entered into rest on Feb. 17, 2020, in Winslow.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Broken Arrow Church, with burial to follow at the family plot in Na-Ah-Tee Canyon.
Lena enjoyed going to church and praising the Lord. She was a loving, caring and compassionate mom and grandmother. She was a homemaker, rug weaver and rancher.
She is survived by her sons, Billy John Jr., Ernest John and Anson K. John; daughters, Sarah Cleveland, Eleanora Yellowhair, Nora John and Mary Gurule; sister, Susan Morris; and brother, Francis Clark.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Billy John Sr.; brothers, Newman Clark, Roger Clark and George Clah; sisters, Ellen Nez, Grace Haskie and Daisy Nelson; son, Larry John; daughter-in-law, Gladys John; and granddaughter Laurinda John.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
