Joseph City didn’t have any regular season matches last week, but over the weekend they competed in one of the largest volleyball invitationals of the year as part of the Epic Tourneys Volleyball Invitational held in Chandler.
The Wildcats played in the Gold Bracket where they were pooled with Crismon, Coconino and Skyline. Friday’s pool play results saw the Lady Cats fall to each of their pool opponents in two straight games.
Once in the bracket portion of the tournament on Saturday, they fell to St. David 0-2, and to Holbrook 0-2 in their final match of the tournament. This week they return to regular season play with a home match vs Cibecue on Tuesday, followed by a trip to Williams on Friday. Next Tuesday they will host Tuba City.
