On Oct. 21, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Show Low to take on the Lady Cougars. The match would go for four sets to determine the victor. That evening Bulldog Keira Barton would hit a milestone getting her 1,000 career assist.
First set went to Winslow 25-22; second set Show Low 25-11; third set Show Low 25-14; and fourth set Show Low 25-15.
Winslow stats include 5 aces led by Kassidy Belone and Natilyn Nez, each with 2; 25 kills led by Kassidy Belone and Kaitlyn Belone each with 7; 163 attacks led by Tamia Haskie with 43; 105 digs led by Nez with 27; and 22 assists led by Barton with 17.
On Oct. 23, the Lady Bulldogs hosted the Blue Ridge Lady Yellowjackets. It was also Senior Night and the Bulldogs honored the senior members of the team including Keira Barton, Kaitlyn Belone, Ayla Curley, Tamia Haskie, Allison Holiday, Natilyn Nez, Ariana Torres and Bailey Upshaw.
Barton was also recognized for breaking her second school record this season capturing the season assist record, which was held by Janessa Meyers in 2022 with 519, Barton now has 550 season assists with two matches in the regular season to go.
The first set the Lady Bulldogs would keep it close but the Yellowjackets would prevail 25-23. The second set the Yellowjackets would enjoy a comfortable lead early but the Bulldogs would battle back in till the Yellowjackets closed the door. Blue Ridge 25, Winslow 20.
In the third set the Bulldogs would start out with determination but the Yellowjackets would get the sweep, 25-17.
Winslow stats include 7 aces led by Barton and Upshaw each with 2; 17 kills led by Haskie with 7; 73 attacks led by Haskie with 21; 34 digs led by Nez with 7; and 16 assists led by Barton with 11.
On Oct. 25, the Lady Bulldogs hosted the Lady Wildcats of Chinle in their final home match of the season.
In the first set the Lady Wildcats would make a late run but the Bulldogs would have a comfortable lead, taking the set 25-18.
In the second set the Bulldogs would be in control but emotions would run a little high in the final points. Winslow over Chinle 25-19.
In the third set Lady Bulldog Coach Julie Thomas subbed-in all the players so they could get court time in the last home set of the season. Winslow took that set 25-22.
Winslow stats include 12 aces led by Nez with 3; 30 kills led by Kassidy Belone with 8; 99 attacks led by Kassidy Belone with 23; 63 digs led by Nez and Barton each with 12; and 26 assists led by Barton with 15.
