Kenneth Stephen Bauer Kenneth Stephen Bauer, 71, passed away on July 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff. Ken was born Feb. 3, 1950, in Pennsylvania at the home of Thomas and Marie Bauer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 33 years, Marcia Bauer. Survivors include his only sibling, Sherry Bauer; three sons, Kenneth Bauer, Michael Bauer and Thomas J. Baier; and his daughter, Heather Woodruff, as well as many stepchildren and grandchildren. KB, as he was called, retired from the Petrified Forest National Park after 31 years of service. His greatest joys in life were helping others, friends and neighbors of whom he all loved dearly. Ken lived a life full of family, car racing and tinkering in his yard fixing things. He was a loving friend, father, stepdad and grandparent. He was always there to give advice to help when needed or just listen to you and share a beer. He was loved by many. We will miss you KB, but we know you are where you want to be and this is with Marcia. Per his request there will be a small get together with friends and family at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 209 Hollins St., in Holbrook.
