John Larson John Larson of Winslow passed away March 24, 2021. Father of John Harold of Oklahoma and Stephen Eddie of Ohio; grandchildren, John U.S.S. Oscar Austin of Virginia and Taylor of Indiana. John served in the Army 1943 to 1946. He married Ruth Larson on Dec. 20, 1948. He owned and operated a Chevron full service gas station from 1957 to 1974 and served the community as sales advisor for the Arizona Republic from 1974 until his retirement in 1987. He served in the first Christian church in Winslow for over 40 years. His body was donated to science care at his request. No services will be held at his request. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
