Joe Milligan, 68, was born Aug. 28, 1949, in St. Johns, Ariz., and entered into rest on Nov 1, 2017, in Flagstaff. A Holy Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 6, at the Madre De Dios Catholic Church in Winslow. He worked for BSNF Railroad for 27 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dolores; two sons Joseph (Lucille) Milligan of Mesa, AZ and Phillip (Bonnie) Milligan of Flagstaff, AZ; brothers Max (Teri) Milligan of Winslow, Grant Milligan of Silver City, NM, Julian Milligan of Flagstaff and John (Sylvia) Lucero of Las Cruces, NM; sisters Ramona Hayes, Connie (Frank) Ochoa and Lydia Gates all of Las Cruces, NM; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Lucero, grandparents Jose and Julia Lucero, sister Loretta Elliott and nephew Joseph Milligan. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
