Joe A. Salazar Joe A. Salazar, 89, passed away on March 5, 2021, at his house in Winslow. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 26, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Desert View Cemetery. He was born on April 17, 1931, to Richard and Cecilia Salazar in Winslow. Joe enjoyed playing the guitar and singing in church. He loved being around family and his grandkids. He enjoyed family gatherings, music and hunting. He is survived by his son, Daniel Salazar; daughters, Delores “LoLo” Salazar, Stella Richards and Marie Baca; 12 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Salazar; and son, Richard Salazar. Greer’s Mortuary handled the arrangements.
