Joan Curley, 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Phoenix. Funeral services were held March 11 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winslow. Interment was at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow. Joan was born January 7, 1947, in Birdsprings. She was a teacher in Chinle until she retired in 2009. Survivors include her father, Jill Curley; two daughters, Camille Curley and Danielle Curley; a son, Ramero Curley; and five brothers, Ray Curley, Jack Curley, Andrew Curley, Bernard Curley and Carson Curley. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
