Jake Bizzell of Holbrook, born Feb. 20, 1963, in Lincoln County, N.M., passed away peacefully in his sleep Dec. 5, 2023. Jake was a proud daddy and a devoted grandpa. He accomplished many things in his lifetime including being arguably the world’s best excavator operator. However, his most treasured achievements were as a father and grandfather. Jake is survived by his daughter, Ashlee and grandchildren. Along with his mother Kate and siblings, Shawnee and Will. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tiffiney; his father, William; and his Brother-in-law, Drew. A gathering will be held at Pinta Ranch, Exit 320 off the I-40 for local friends and family at 12 noon on Jan. 20. He will be greatly missed by all that love him although I’m sure he’s at peace now with his wife. Owens Livingston mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
