Iona Marie Padilla-Vallejos Iona Marie Padilla-Vallejos, 67, of Winslow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in Henderson, Nev. Iona was born in Butte, Mont., to Daniel and Ruth Annette Sena on Oct. 20, 1954. Iona was a graduate of Winslow High School. She married the love of her life Pablo Padilla and they had three children together. Iona owned her own business in Winslow and was passionate about giving the best care to her patients at Padilla Residential Care. Iona was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Iona is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa; father, Daniel Sena; mother, Ruth Annette Cates; and four sisters, Rebecca, Debbie, Dana and Cathie. She is survived by her son, Pablo (Tammy); daughter, Tina (David); brother, Daniel (Terri); sisters, Rachel (Eric), Teresa and Patsy (Frank); eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church, located at 1015 Central St., in Winslow. Burial to follow at Desert View Cemetery. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
