The Winslow Police Department is asking for assistance from the public in obtaining information regarding a stabbing that occurred in Winslow on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

According to the police officials, at 7:54 p.m. on Wednesday a 31-year-old Native American male arrived at Little Colorado Medical Center with multiple stab wounds to his abdomen. The assault reportedly took place in the area of North Park Drive and Hillview Streets.

The suspect in this case is described at a Native American male approximately 25 to 30 years of age and was last seen wearing all black.
