By Linda Kor The Holbrook Unified School District Governing Board met last week and discussed the district’s offerings to students over the summer. For the month of June, Hulet Elementary School will be offering an art club and Lego coding classes. Holbrook Junior High School’s offerings include Navajo cultural experiences, STEM/science activities, music and art clubs, athletics and a basketball camp. At Holbrook High School there will be broadcasting, running and Spanish clubs. There will also be a variety of athletic camps available to students from every sport the school competes in during the school year. The district will be participating in the Final Mile Project agreement for SY 21-22 as part of a consortium of rural school districts that are underserved from an internet perspective.
