The Holbrook Police Department received five reports of theft during the period of Aug. 2-8, according to dispatcher reports. At 3:53 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, an employee of Maverik, located at 1301 Navajo Blvd., reported the theft of alcohol valued at $4.04. At 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, an employee of Circle K, located at 101 Mission Lane, reported the theft of alcohol valued at $2.19. At 10:16 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, an employee of Mesa Italiana Restaurant, located at 2318 Navajo Blvd., reported the theft of a cell phone and luggage valued at $1,500. At 7:02 p.m. on Friday, an employee of Safeway, located at 702 W. Hopi Drive, reported the theft of alcohol valued at $3.05. At 3:41 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, an employee of Family Dollar, located at 615 W. Hopi Drive, reported the theft of pepper spray and consumable goods. The items were recovered.
