The Holbrook Police Department received 87 reports during the period of Jan 1-7.
During that time, officers responded to 11 suspicious activities, eight welfare checks, six 911 hang ups, five disorderly conduct incidents, four warrants, three each of animal problems, agency assists, citizen assists, information requests, messages delivered and traffic collisions, two each of assaults, intoxicated persons and shoplifting incidents, and one each of abandoned vehicle, assault, alarm, alcohol offense, attempt to locate, citizen dispute, custodial inference, court order, DUI/drugs, fire, found property, juvenile problem, lost or found property, not classified incident, traffic offense, theft and vehicle serial number inspection.
The following persons were cited, charged or arrested by Holbrook police officers recently. These persons are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
Wednesday, Jan. 1: Naomi Nez, 40, failure to appear; Lathan Benally, 49, trespassing; Michelle Sam, 61, disorderly conduct/domestic violence; Thaimyne Gishi, 34, disorderly conduct/domestic violence, DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol content of 0.15% or more and assault/domestic violence; and Mallorie Hoyungowa, 28, disorderly conduct.

Friday, Jan. 3: Shailyn Curtis, 20, underage drinking; Heidi Yazzie, 21, furnishing alcohol to minors; Andre Bitahey, 20, underage drinking; and Daniel Sandoval, 37, disorderly conduct/domestic violence, criminal damage/domestic violence and assault/domestic violence.
