Dr. Robbie Koerperich will be continuing as superintendent of Holbrook Unified School District for one more year. Late last year the district announced that Koerperich would be retiring at the conclusion of this school year in May and had several candidates as a result of a search through the Arizona School Boards Association.
Three finalists had been selected to choose from but over the past several weeks all but one withdrew from consideration. As a result, the board made the decision in a special meeting last week to have Koerperich continue in the position and suspend the search for a new superintendent until next year.
