It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donny Baca at the age of 45. He was born and raised in Holbrook, and died on Aug. 5, 2023. Donny was preceded in death by his father, Isidro S. Baca Sr., who died on June 6, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Monica Baca; his children, Roman Anthony Baca-Ashcraft, Manuel Baca, Mauricia Baca, Markus Xavier Baca and Aryiah Sunshine Baca; his grandchildren, Michael Eutilio Ashcraft, Athena Louise Ashcraft and Jenesis Rosa Baca; his mother, Yvonne Barnes; his brother, Isidro Baca Jr. and his sister, Elizabeth Baca. His big smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed, and he will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Friends and family are invited to attend a rosary, which will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 14, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 225 E. Arizona St., in Holbrook. Interment will follow at the Holbrook cemetery. A luncheon will follow the graveside services at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Hall. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handed the arrangements.
