Dolores G. Pena Dolores G. Pena went to her heavenly home May 29 surrounded by family. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at St. Joseph in Winslow. Dolores was born March 5, 1930, to Antonio Petez and Rufina Gallegos in Concho. She graduated high school from St. John’s, Ariz. She married her high school sweetheart Elfigo Pena in 1952 while Elfigo was in the Navy. Dolores enjoyed camping, cooking, the Rancho and spending time with family. She was director of Winslow Head Start for many years. Dolores is survived by her husband, Elfigo; children, Steve (Pamela) Pena, Thomas (Dee) Pena, Antoinette (Jim) Burrage and Monica (Eduardo) Armenta; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dolores is preceded in death by son, Paul Pena; her parents, Antonio and Rufina; brothers, Antonio, Don Tomas, Pepe, Alejandro; and sisters, Ermalinda, Regina, and Rita.
