David Allen Jaehnke, 74, of Clovis, N.M., died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Services were held on May 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clovis, N.M. Cremation has taken place.
David was born Nov. 3, 1943, in Beaver Dam, Wis., to William Jaehnke and Ida Tewes Jaehnke. He married Lynn Larson on Oct. 23, 1965, in Columbus, Wis.
David served in the US Air Force during Vietnam as a radar technician. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, VFS 3280 American Legion, Eagles, Eagle Riders and Clovis-Portalis Elks Lodge. David loved playing pool, woodworking, mechanizing and singing.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn; three daughters, Tammy Jo (Robert) Sanders of Tucson, Teresa (Esquiel) Segovia of Clovis, N.M., and Dawn Jaehnke of Clovis, N.M.; two brothers, Donald Jaehnke of Houston, Texas, and Lyle Jaehnke of Beaver Dam, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ida Jaehnke; two sisters, Lorraine Janz and Audrey Michel; and a brother, Edgar Jaehnke.
Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis, N.M., handled the arrangements.
