Danny Kevin Ramsey, 60, was born Dec. 20, 1963, and passed on June 28, 2024.
Born to Dan and Leslie Ramsey on the 20th of December 1963 in McNairy. Kevin’s incredible work ethic began early in his childhood by logging in Chevelon. After graduating from Winslow High School in 1982, he served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hong Kong, China. He then went to college in Rexburg, Idaho, where he met the love of his life Tamie. He continued logging in Arizona until hiring on with the BNSF Railway and worked as a locomotive engineer for 28 years.
While raising their children, Kevin and Tamie created several small businesses to serve the Winslow community, the most recent being Rock’n R Dairy, which continues to deliver milk to the schools and businesses in Winslow and on the Navajo Reservation across Northern Arizona. He also coached youth football and little league baseball for many years. His willingness to serve others was carried out alongside his beloved wife Tamie, continued after her passing and continues through his posterity.
He is survived by his children, Tessa (Zach) Wadsworth, Kirk (Allison) Ramsey and Tamry (Jared) Wright; grandchildren, Mila (9), Danica (8), Jax (7), Ramson (7), Harper (5), Rowan (5), Ballard (4), Knox (4), Tatum (3), Nash (1), Baylor (1) and Harley (2 months); his siblings, Mike, Duke and Kristi; his mother, Leslie, and many other friends and family.
He has been called home to join his sweetheart Tamie so they can continue their love affair through eternity.
