Here Hashknife Captain Mark Reynolds (left) helps his grandson Crawford Bielefeldt (front) drop in the first letter at the Holbrook Post Office while Postmaster Nancy Tom and Hashknife member Bill Perkins look on. Barrels have been placed at area post offices including in Winslow, Joseph City, Taylor, Snowflake, Heber, Overgaard, Show Low and Pinetop/Lakeside, as well as at Bienvenidos Restaurant in Holbrook. Pictured are Catholic Charities’ License and Adoption Specialist Jodi Duran (left) and Foster Care and Adoption Supervisor Donna Baldonado (right) who worked to ensure local foster children receive donated Christmas gifts. This program, initiated by a Cholla employee over 20 years ago, has brought joy to many children over the years.
