Photo courtesy of the Bread of Life Mission - Navajo County Sheriff K.C. Clark (left) and Navajo County Attorney Brad Carlyon (right) competed to raise funds for Bread of Life Mission of Holbrook. The winner was to “pie” the loser at the mission’s annual banquet held Oct. 1. Sheriff Clark won, then offered to sell his “pie” rights for $100, an offer taken up by his wife, Brenda Clark (center). Clark and Carlyon were excellent sports, offering anyone at the event the opportunity to pie either of them for $25. According to those present, they had plenty of takers.
