On Jan. 30, the Bulldogs hosted the Alchesay Falcons with a large crowd on hand to cheer them on with both teams battling for the win to the final minutes.
In the first quarter the Falcons would enjoy a one-point lead over the Bulldogs of 13 to 12. In the second quarter with a last second shot the Bulldogs would tie the game, outscoring the Falcons, 16 to 15, making the halftime score Winslow 28 and Alchesay 28.
In the third quarter, the Bulldogs would take the lead, outshooting the Falcons 15 to 9. In the fourth quarter, both teams would trade the lead but the Bulldogs would outshoot the Falcons 19 to 18, making the final score Winslow 62 and Alchesay 55.
Winslow had two players in double figures led by Blaine Begay with 20 points and two three-point shots and Kasey Monroe with 12 points.
On Jan. 31, the Bulldogs hosted the Blue Ridge Yellowjackets. In the first quarter, the Yellowjackets would have a one-point lead over the Bulldogs of 15 to 14. In the second quarter, the Yellowjackets would extend their lead, outscoring the Bulldogs 18 to 10 for a halftime score of Blue Ridge 33 and Winslow 24.
In the third quarter, the Yellowjackets would outperform the Bulldogs holding them to just two points and scoring 14 points. In the fourth quarter the Bulldogs and the Yellowjackets would trade baskets with each team scoring 17 points, making the final score Blue Ridge 64 and Winslow 43.
Winslow had one player in double figures Blaine Begay with 14 points and four three-point shots.
