On April 22, the Winslow Bulldogs traveled to Lakeside to take on the Blue Ridge Yellowjackets.
In the top of the first the Bulldogs would get their only run of the game on a Brendan Knight RBI double.
In the bottom of the first the Yellowjackets scored 3 runs on a Karson Rosenthal 2 RBI double, who would then score on an error. In the bottom of the second the Yellowjackets would score 3 runs on a Hunter Krause 2 RBI triple and Cooper Phillips would cross the bag just before the third out.
In the bottom of the third the Yellowjackets would score 2 runs when Noah Chee would steal home and Rosenthal would score on an error. In the bottom of the fourth the Yellowjackets would score 3 runs on a Kaden Edgington RBI single, Phillips on a wild pitch and a Brenton Newcomb RBI single for a final score of Blue Ridge 11, Winslow 1.
On April 23, the Bulldogs hosted the Mohave Valley River Valley Dust Devils. It was also Senior Night where the Bulldogs senior managers Rhyan Bedonie-Rameriz and Analycia Valzuela, along with senior players Michael Romero who has signed to wrestle for New Mexico’s Highland University, Alex Salazar, Wesley Reid, Zach Sanchez and Knight who has signed to play baseball at Bethany Lutheran College.
In the top of the first the Dust Devils would score 2 runs on a Kai Carroll RBI triple. He would then score on a dropped third strike.
In the top of the second the Dust Devils would score 3 runs with one run on an error and a Mickey Smith 2 RBI single.
In the top of the third the Dust Devils would score 2 runs on a Landon Neufield 2 RBI single.
In the top of the fourth the Dust Devils would score 1 run on a Zain Bruton RBI single.
In the top of the fifth the Dust Devils scored 4 more runs, with 2 runs scoring on an error, Neufield scoring on a fly out and a Smith RBI triple, making the final score of River Valley 12, Winslow 0.
Winslow had three hits by Sanchez, Jeremais Paddock and Aiden Martinez. Two stolen bases by Martinez and Romero. Winslow used two pitchers Knight and Alex Salazar.
On April 25, the Bulldogs traveled to Show Low to take on the Cougars in a game that would go all seven innings and would have the Cougars having to dig deep for the comeback win, with the Bulldogs defense keeping the game close.
In the top of the first the Bulldogs would score 2 runs on Paddock 2 RBI double.
In the bottom of the second the Cougars would score 1 run on a Landon Erikson RBI single.
In the top of the third the Bulldogs would score 1 run on a Knight RBI double.
In the top of the fourth the Bulldogs would tack on 4 runs with a Sanchez 2 RBI single, Wesley Reid would steal home and Knight a RBI single. In the bottom of the fourth the Cougars would close the gap with 4 runs with Nick Hall RBI single, Easton Hatch 2 RBI double and Kash Perkins RBI single. In the bottom of the fifth the Cougars would score the final 3 runs of the game with a Mason Bigos 2 RBI triple and would score on a wild pitch, for a final score of Show Low 8, Winslow 7.
