Photo by Jim Buckley Winslow’s historic “Birthplace Cabin” made its way to its new permanent home last week. Here, Winslow’s Gene Hancock helps lift the structure from the back of a truck. The cabin was moved from Brigham City to a park on Williamson Avenue in Winslow, a space closer to its original location when it was built in the late 1860’s. The cabin is considered the first permanent residence built in Winslow and housed several prominent citizens over the years. The Winslow Historic Preservation Commission facilitated the move.
