April Marie Flores, 45, passed away on Sept. 25, 2016, in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was born on Sept. 23, 1971, in Winslow. She loved taking care of her yard, she was a die-hard Steelers fan and adored and loved her puppy “Cup Cake”. April is survived by her significant other Clayton Morgan; son James Flores; sister Rachel Flores; brothers, Manuel “Spanky” Flores and Joseph Flores Tafoya; and her mother Lydia Flores. She was preceded in death by her auntie Jennie Tafoya and nephew Manny “Lino” Flores. A Holy Rosary was held for April on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church in Winslow followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with internment in the Desert View Cemetery. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
