Anthony Michael Duran of Montrose, Colo., died on July 19, 2018, in Grand Junction, Colo. Tony was originally from Holbrook and worked at Navajo County Elections and was self-employed as a mechanic. He enjoyed racing cars, flying model airplanes, camping and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed. Tony is survived by his daughters, Nicole (Roger) Gishie and Carey (Scott) Liptow, and their children; his sons, Nick (Kathy) Duran and Tim (Yese) Gillispi, and their children; his granddaughter, Jolisa (Will) Jessup and their children; and his siblings Pete (Laverne) Duran, Lisa Duran, Burnice (Jack) Duran, Peter (Brandy) Duran and Ray Duran, and their children. Tony was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Duran; and his parents, Jake and Pearly Duran.
