By Greg Perkins The Lady Lobos drew a split in the two volleyball matches they played last week, falling at home to Round Valley on Wednesday, then sweeping Holbrook on the road on Thursday. The home match with the Lady Elks went the distance before Snowflake fell in the fifth game. In Holbrook, Snowflake surged ahead, grabbing solid leads in two of the three games, then fought off the Lady Birds down the stretch to move to 3-2 overall on the season. After hosting Holbrook on Tuesday, Snowflake will face a tough Blue Ridge squad tonight (Sept. 12) in Lakeside, then travel to Winslow to meet up with the Lady Bulldogs on Thursday, Sept. 13.
