The Lady Wildcats will have had an entire week off to prepare for their first round state playoff volleyball match against Pima this morning (Nov. 4). Unfortunately for both 12th seeded Joseph City and fifth ranked Pima, this match is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott. To be fair, though, four of the first eight opening round matches in the Division V playoffs begin at the same early start time. The other four first round matches get underway at 10 a.m.
If the Lady Wildcats can upset the Lady Roughriders in the opening round, they will face either No. 4 St. David or No. 13 Phoenix Christian at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The semi-final and final rounds are scheduled for Saturday morning and afternoon, with all matches played at the Toyota Center.
