The Winslow boys’ track team came in seventh at the Blue Ridge Invitational meet held April 15. The Winslow girls’ team was ninth.
Snowflake won the boys’ meet with a score of 129.5, followed by Blue Ridge with 112; and Apache Junction, 76. Winslow scored 40 points.
Blue Ridge won the girls’ meet with a score of 129.5, followed by Show Low with 98.5; and Payson, 56.5. Winslow scored 33 points.
There were 17 boys’ teams and 18 girls’ teams which scored.
For Winslow, Tito Johnson was third in the 400 meters.
Brianna Macedo was third in the girls’ 400 meters.
Wendell Carter was fourth in the 100 meters.
Cody Sangster was fourth in the 800 meters.
Payden Zufelt was fourth in the 110 meter hurdles and fifth in the 300 meter hurdles.
Mesha Fuson finished fourth in the discus.
Corey Nez was seventh in the discus.
Angelica Milligan was tied for sixth in the pole vault.
The boys’ 4×100 meter relay team of Wendell Carter, Sedale Flanagan, Henry Montiel and Miles Brown finished fourth.
The boys’ 4×400 meter relay team of Payden Zufelt, Tito Johnson, Lorin Greenwood and Sedale Flanagan finished fourth.
The boys’ 4×800 meter relay team of Cody Sangster, John Hoskie, Lukas Shirley and Kevin Decker finished fourth.
The girls’ 4×100 meter relay team of Kelafer Kinlecheenie, Lauren Hatch, Brianna Macedo and Kristina Mangus was sixth.
The girls’ 4×400 meter relay team of Tatum Charley, Brianna Macedo, Kelafer Kinlecheenie and Lauren Hatch finished fifth.
