The Winslow High School golf team finished fourth in a four-team match played at Snowflake last Thursday. Snowflake won the meet with a low score of 156. Blue Ridge was a close second at 161 and Show Low was third at 179. Winslow posted a 214.
David Aberle of Winslow had an outstanding round, scoring one over par, and tied for second with a low score of 37. Kyle Jones of Snowflake had the best score of the day with a four under par 32.
Winslow players and their scores included Emmett Foster and Brandon Little, 57; Lane Conner, 63; Kassandra Grabowski, 66; Jacob Huddleston, 67; Ragan Huddleston, 69; and Mishayla Chacon, 78.
