Rio Rico was third at 127 and Safford was fourth and the top 3A Conference team with a score of 103.5.

Winslow’s other two wrestlers in the tournament were both freshmen. Daniel Lopez and Jace Hardy placed fourth and fifth in the earlier qualifying tournament. Both are expected to be stalwarts on the team during the rest of their high school careers.
