With the cement wall now in place at the foot of the marquee at the corner of Gillespie Park in downtown Holbrook, volunteers cleared the area on Jan. 28 for the addition of a planter. Navajo County donated the supplies for the project and will have buildings and grounds workers place the footings and build the planter before painting the entire structure. More volunteers will be needed to dig the ground for the footings in the coming week. Volunteers included (back, left to right) Frank Hamler and Steven Schroeder from the Bread of Life Mission, and 1-year-old Tildyn Larson (foreground). Also volunteering that day were Tildyn’s 4-year-old brother Ty and his father, Trent Larson.
