NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE TOWN OF SNOWFLAKE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Snowflake Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Snowflake Town Hall, 81 W. 1st Street South, Snowflake, Arizona 85937.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a zoning change request pursuant to Town Code Section 10-9. Salvador and Angelene Alcantar are requesting a zoning change for a portion of Parcel No. 202-05-067H, located at 1403 W. 7th South Street, Snowflake, Arizona 85937. The approximately 19-acre parcel is currently zoned R1 – Residential, One-Acre Minimum. The applicants propose to divide approximately 0.45 acre from the larger parcel and rezone the 0.45-acre portion to R10 – Residential, 10,000 Square Foot Minimum. The purpose of the requested zoning change is to allow the smaller parcel to be conveyed separately from the remainder of the property.
