ORDINANCE NO. 26-04

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOLBROOK, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF HOLBROOK TO CALVARY CHAPEL OF HOLBROOK, INC. MORE FULLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT “A” ATTACHED HERETO

WHEREAS, ADOT abandoned the right of way with resolution 2026-01-A-001 and The City of Holbrook is accepting it to facilitate the transfer to Calvary Chapel of Holbrook, Inc., the property more fully described in exhibit A; and

WHEREAS, an Ordinance is required by the Holbrook City Charter, section 7.05(f) to transfer any real property.

WHEREAS, that certain document entitled “Calvary Chapel property transfer June 10^th 2026,” one paper copy and one electronic copy of which are on file with the City Clerk, is hereby declared a public record and said copies are ordered to remain on file with the Clerk.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Holbrook, Arizona, as follows:

Section 1. Property.

The property more fully described in Exhibit A will be transferred by the City of Holbrook to Calvary Chapel of Holbrook, Inc. and the transfer is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference in this Ordinance.

Section 2. Authority.

The City Manager is authorized to sign all documents necessary to effectuate the transfer between Calvary Chapel of Holbrook, Inc. and the City of Holbrook.

Section 3. Effective Date.

The effective date of this Ordinance shall be 30 days following adoption by the City Council.
