Snowflake split their two games played last week picking up a 71-58 home court region win over Alchesay on Friday night, then dropping a freedom game to Valley Christian on Saturday evening by a final of 72-39.
Friday’s win over the Falcons kept Snowflake in a tie for third place in the east region standings with a 2-2 record. They are tied with Holbrook in standings, as well as their head-to-head records at this point.
The Lobos still have six region games remaining, as well as freedom games with Payson and ALA – Anthem South.
This week they travel to Winslow on Tuesday, then will go on the road to Payson on Thursday. Friday night they will play in Blue Ridge.
Snowflake was ranked 13th in the 3A Power rankings prior to their two games this weekend. Two of this week’s opponents are ranked above them. Winslow was ranked fourth before Friday night’s loss in Holbrook and Payson sits one position above the Lobos in 12th.
