A Holbrook family is looking for their community’s help in locating a loved one that may be endangered. Matthew David Mendiola, also known as Chooch, left his home on Buffalo Street at approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, and has not been seen since. Matthew was wearing all-black clothing and boots.
When contacted regarding the missing man, Police Chief Nathan Christensen stated, “We checked school cameras near his residence with negative contact. He is known to drink so we checked areas throughout town where people hang out; we went to all the convenience stores and bars and showed them his picture. This didn’t provide any new leads. His whereabouts are still unknown.”
With little to go on, the family is looking to the community to learn if anyone has seen him. For anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, please contact HPD at 928-524-3992.
