The Winslow Police Department received 21 reports of theft during the period of Oct. 6-26 according to dispatcher reports. Persons who were cited, charged, or arrested by WPD officers in connection with these incidents are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 9:41 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, an employee of Walmart, located at 700 Mike’s Pike St., reported a theft of a mobility scooter.
At 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, an employee of Safeway, located at 1600 N. Park Drive reported a theft of items valued at $1.25. Charles Benally, 24, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.
At 5:52 p.m. on Wednesday, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of items valued at $37.47. Natasha Shorty, 35, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.
At 1:19 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of items valued at $127.21.
At 2:52 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, an employee of Maverik, located at 2110 N. Park Drive, reported a theft of alcohol valued at $58.98.
At 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, an employee of Circle K No. 1, located at 317 N. Williamson Ave., reported a theft of items valued at $10.99.
At 9:27 p.m. on Sunday an employee of Walmart reported a theft of items valued at $30.78.
At 4:03 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, an employee of Denny’s, located at 400 Transcon Lane, reported a theft of services valued at $23.71.
At 1:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, a person reported a theft of a wallet from a home on the 200 block of East Hillview Street.
At 9:36 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of baby formula valued at $221.82.
At 1:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, an employee of Flying J, located at 400 Transcon Lane, reported a theft of alcohol valued at $20.99.
At 7:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20, an employee of Circle K No. 2, located at 524 W. Third St., reported a theft of items. Damon Anthony, 33, was arrested for shoplifting and a warrant in connection with the incident.
At 11:51 p.m. on Monday, an employee of Circle K No. 2 reported a theft of alcohol valued at $10.99. Michele Chavez, 40, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.
At 5:18 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of items valued at $26.48.
At 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, a person reported a theft of a license plate from The Winslow Hotel, located at 2206 N. Park Drive.
At 6:58 a.m. on Wednesday, an employee of Flying J, located at 400 Transcon Lane, reported a theft. Dylan Schmitt, 31, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.
At 7:16 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, an employee of Maverik, located at 2110 N. Park Drive, reported a theft of items valued at $13.87.
At 11:43 p.m. on Thursday, an employee of Circle K No. 1 reported a theft of items valued at $16. Luther Natoni, 35, was arrested for shoplifting and failure to comply in connection with the incident.
At 6:04 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, an employee of Walmart reported a theft.
At 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, an employee of Walmart reported a theft.
At 5:56 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of items. Bryan Armenta, 26, and Allan Hoyos, 24, were each arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.
