At 4:47 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 22, Navajo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported shooting in the Antelope Valley, an area north of Heber/Overgaard. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males at a residence near Pinyon Road. Life-saving measures were immediately initiated; however, Billy Lamb, 46, of Clay Springs, was pronounced deceased at approximately 5:23 p.m.
The second individual, Stephen Lamb, 47, of Texas, was taken into custody without incident and transported for questioning by investigators. The NCSO Criminal Investigations Unit responded and investigated the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
