Winslow Mayor Birdie Cano gave a speech at the 9-11 Memorial Park about unity and coming together as a nation and the good that can come from working together.
Over 2,000 flags were placed into the ground at Winslow’s 9-11 Memorial Garden for each victim killed in the 9-11 terrorist attack during a ceremony held last week. Winslow resident Ken Evans organized the event, which took a team of 20 people eight hours to complete.
