The Holbrook Unified School District (HUSD) No. 3 Governing Board met for a special meeting Wednesday, July 23. Board Member Claudia Jackson was not in attendance. The board approved Bryan Lang’s teacher contract to teach social studies at Holbrook Junior High School for School Year (SY) 2025-26. The board also approved Lang to substitute until fully certified by the Arizona Department of Education with retroactive pay for teacher certification if acquired by Oct. 1.
Also approved was the hiring of Rebekah Wilson for a speech and language pathology assistant contract for Holbrook Unified School District for SY 2025-26.
The hiring of Michaela Saxton as substitute scheduler as an extra duty assignment for the district for SY 2025-26 was also approved.
The board also approved Melissa Robertson’s resignation as support staff administrative assistant effective on July 31. Finally, the board approved the revised support staff administrative assistant job description.
