On April 7, the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO), in close partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), arrested Hailee Hernandez, 29, of Overgaard, in connection with an investigation involving the receipt, possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Following a thorough joint investigation, detectives from NCSO and agents from the FBI identified Hernandez as a suspect involved in the exploitation of minors through the online distribution and possession of CSAM. A search warrant was executed, leading to the seizure of digital evidence and the subsequent arrest of Hernandez.
Hernandez was arrested for two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor-possession and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor-distribution and was booked into the Navajo County Jail. Hernandez is currently being held on a $250,000 secured bond.
“This arrest underscores our strong commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Sheriff David Clouse. “We are grateful for the continued collaboration with our federal partners in ensuring these serious crimes are fully investigated and prosecuted.”
