Dolores Moser Obit Picture

Dolores “Dodie” Charlene Moser was born on August 20, 1937, in Dallas, Texas, and peacefully entered into eternal rest, at the age of 87, on March 1, 2025, in Winslow.

Dodie was the second of four children, born to Alva and Charles Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Jerry Miller, Ron Miller and Linda Miller Cruz.

Dodie was first married in 1953, to Kirk Clark of Winslow. They had two children, Monica Clark Parker and Dan Clark (Missy) of Winslow. She was tragically widowed in 1963. Monica preceded her in death in 2017.

She married again in 1967, to Vic Moser and they had one son, Jason Moser (Angela) of Chandler/Winslow. Vic and Dodie, with their three children, lived in Winslow until they moved to Payson in 2000. They returned to Winslow in 2017 to be closer to family. She was widowed again in December 2017 after 50 years of marriage.

Dodie was the proud grandma of eight: Dan Clark III, Kamry Clark Dowling, Ryan and Jason Stephens, David Moser, Elan Clark, and Jeffery and Felicia Gonzales. She was the great-grandma of 13: Mason Smith, Amayah Moser, Draven and Zephyr Stephens, Kennedy Dowling, Caleb Clark, Leo and Sofie Gonzales, Mila Huerta, and Emilio, Sophia, Mateo and Elicia Vargas. Each of them will remember her as the matriarch who instilled in them the importance of family and the power of a good laugh.

Dodie was a woman whose life was characterized by her unwavering faith, her gentle kindness and her delightful sense of humor. Her journey through life was marked by the love she gave and the love she received. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the person that she was.

The funeral Mass and Rosary for Dodie was on March 8 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winslow. Interment was at Desert View Cemetery.
