Richard “Ricky” Lawrence Gallegos Sr., born Feb. 13, 1959, passed away suddenly on Jan. 5, 2025, at the age of 65, in Phoenix.
Our beloved Ricky lived a life filled with love, laughter and family. Quick witted and always full of stories to make anyone laugh. Ricky was a jack of all trades and master of many. He loved to be out in the mountains fishing, watching Nascar or cheering on his 49ers.
He is survived by his dad, Lawrence U. Gallegos; his wife, Mary; children, Lupe Ann Baldonado, Richard, Regan, Ryan and Amelia Gallegos; three stepchildren and many grand, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
He will be deeply missed by his brother, Frank
Gallegos (his Irish twin); his sisters, Annabelle Acuna, Renza Gallegos and Lisa Jolley, who he fondly nick named Sasa.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Lupe and his sister Tina.
A Celebration of Life for Lupe and Ricky will be held with a Rosary and Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook, with lunch at Family Center after mass.
