With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of our father, husband, grandfather, brother uncle, David Dale Jr., husband of Serita Dale. He was a great man, always making sure that everyone was doing good, and had so much love for his grandkids. We will miss him dearly.
David was an 82nd AA Airborne Division Army Veteran. He was also a teacher for Tuba City High School, Shonto High School and retired from Sanders High School. He shared his many years of teaching with his grandkids and lectured to them about the importance of education. Aside from his teaching, he enjoyed bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding in rodeos in his early days. He also loved to ride his Harley for relaxation.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook.
