The Roadrunners cruised to their second consecutive Little Colorado Region win on Friday night, with a 63-0 shutout of Many Farms. Playing in front of a sparse crowd at Roadrunner Stadium, Holbrook showed their dominance early and often piling up 49 first-half points against an overmatched Lobo team that only had 14 players in uniform when the game started.
Darren Justman only threw five passes on the night, completing three of them for 122 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Daniel John completed his only pass to Justman on a trick play for 18 yards.
On the ground, Matthias Montijo returned to the lineup for the first time this season giving the offense some spark with 75 yards on just two runs, with both runs finishing in the endzone for touchdowns. Justman carried twice picking up 47 yards. Baler Reidhead carried twice and scored once. He gained 42 yards in the two totes. Levi Autobee gained 28 yards on two attempts. Manny Rico had one five-yard rush.

Damien Ohlson, Rico, Hayden Yellowhair, and Myles Nockideneh each picked off a Lobo pass with Rico’s pick going for six points. Francis also returned a Lobo fumble for 6 points.

This week the Roadrunners, now 2-3, will face another struggling team. Greyhills is winless on the season and Holbrook has outscored their last two region opponents by a combined 126-0 in the last two weeks. The Knights have scored just 24 points all season, including 6 in last week’s 24-6 loss to Hopi. It will be another long night for them in Holbrook on Friday.
