Dickie Mike, 77, passed away on Sept. 24, 2024, in Show Low. He was born on Dec. 27, 1946, to James and Susie Mike in Mike’s Springs. Dickie liked reading his Bible, visiting family, watching rodeos and watching wrestling. His favorite was Chuck Norris and Abbey on NCIS.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Mike; daughters, Lucinda Moore, Cheryl Mike, Shannon Begay and Sharon Wilson; sisters, Nellie Hasdale and Mary Caboni; brothers, Harry Mike and Peter Mike; and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Manygoats; brothers, John Mike and Larry Mike; and sisters, Mavis Thomas, Amy Mike, Nancy Yazzie and Anna Tsosie.
Funeral services were held Oct. 1, at the Tse’ Bii’ Otseel Bible Church in Whitecone, with burial at Holbrook Cemetery.
