At approximately 3:38 a.m. on Sept. 10, the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 5400 block of Gabby Dunk Road in Heber for a report of a structure fire. While deputies were en route, it was learned that there was a vehicle and structure both engulfed in flames.
The Heber Overgaard Fire Department arrived on the scene and fought the fire, but the property was a complete loss. There were no reports of injuries due to the fire.
This case is currently under investigation by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit, the Heber Overgaard Fire Department, and the Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District Fire Marshal.
