The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 4 during the period of July 14-20. Area 4 covers approximately 1,800 square miles, and encompasses the unincorporated areas of Snowflake/Taylor, Shumway, Cedar Hills, White Mountain Lake and Show Low Pines. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by the officers are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, Vincent Ferreira, 74, of Snowflake, was cited and released for criminal littering after deputies made contact with Ferreira in the area Old Woodruff Road and Hay Hollow Road, east of Snowflake.
At 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Joshua Tinley, 35, of Concho, was cited and released for reckless driving after deputies responded to Concho Highway at Lilac Road for a report of a collision.
