Maxine Rose passed away peacefully at one of her daughter’s homes in Clay Springs, on Jan. 23, 2024. She was born July 5, 1931, in San Pedro, Calif., to Louis “Rusty” Garvin and Lois (Mosley) Thomas. She was the third oldest of 19 children.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 10 of her siblings, four children and one grandchild. She has five living children, eight living siblings, numerous grand, great- and great-great-grandchildren spanning five generations as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was loved by all and will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Clay Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Luncheon will follow the services. Maxine will be laid to rest at the Woodruff Cemetery in Woodruff.
