At approximately 6:39 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 17, Navajo County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Geronimo Trading Post, located at 5372 Geronimo Road in Holbrook, regarding an alarm system that had alerted a second time after being turned off. Deputies spoke with the reporting party who advised that the alarm system had gone off during the night, at which time it was disabled. The next morning, the reporting party went around the front of the store and the alarm had gone off again. She then noticed that the door was open. When deputies arrived, they witnessed Seth Hayes, 26, of Chandler, leaving the area on foot. Contact was made with Hayes and items that were missing from the store were found on his person. It was not made clear as of press time whether or not Hayes had been in the store since the alarm initially went off or entered the store in the morning. Hayes was arrested for burglary and booked into the Navajo County Jail.
